Co-Artistic Director - WU Xi

A graduate of China’s Central Drama Institute, Wu Xi previously taught drama at Shen Zhen University before joining The Theatre Practice in 2004 as the company’s Co-Artistic Director.

As a budding playwright and director, several of his works and productions have toured the Chinese theatre scene, including cities like Shanghai, Guang Zhou, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Local productions directed and adapted by Wu Xi include The Island (2002), Animal Farm (2002), The Waterloo Murders (2003), and Moving Gods (2003). Wu Xi has also just completed a script entitled Lake Odyssey (2004).
